I am traveling to Turkey for 10 days on a guided tour.
What to get are my options to get telephone and Internet service. I do have open GSM telephones
where can I get SIM cards for Turkey (and Greece)
    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    buying phone cards in Turkey

You'll be able to buy SIM and phone cards in any of the mini markets and any of the phone booths dotted around Turkey. If my memory serves me well, phone cards start at 10 Turkish liras (~$6) and last for about half-an-hour's phone call to USA or more.

You can always buy a SIM card online before you go on your trip. But make sure that you get them from a reputable place. Watch out for those airport kiosks once you arrive. They can be really, really expensive for SIM cards. Another option for internet access is using the business center at your Turkey hotels.
