The Ritz-Carlton St Thomas has been acquired by Dallas-based Ashford Hospitality Prime for $64 million from Marriott International. Good news is that the resort will continue to be operated as a Ritz-Carlton resort.
Wow, that's an amazing price to pay for this property in St. Thomas. Of course with a location like that, I can see why Ashford Hospitality Prime would like to operate one of St. Thomas' top resorts. It looks like a lovely place to stay, and I hope the service stays top notch, as to be expected from a Ritz-Carlton resort.
