Yet another Las Vegas hotel has been undergoing a makeover transformation for the past 3 years. Formerly known as the Sahara hotel, it will be reopening as the SLS Las Vegas on Labor Day weekend (Aug. 29-Sept. 1 2014). For those in the know, the SLS is already a successful and luxury boutique brand, which means the SLS Las Vegas is going to be an impressive property.
Uhmm I wonder how successful the SLS will be..I know the Sahara closed down because of lack of foot traffic which im sure will be an issue for the SLS. The problem with many casinos on the Strip is that most people think of the Strip from Mandaly Bay to the Wynn, which will make the SLS very out of the way by many of these people.
I reckon the SLS will be a hit as the Stratosphere because of its location, plus the SLS will most likely be part of the tram system, which will allow guests staying at the SLS to get to the center of strip where all the action is.
