Are food and drinks included normally in a cruise. Does that mean I can eat and drink as much as I want?

What about room service? I don't want to plan to go on a cruise and find out there are indeed many hidden costs! I myself will be paying for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Also, what cruise line(s) have you been on?

Food and drinks (lemonades) and room service are included on most cruises nowadays, though don't expect gourmet foods unless you're booking a luxury cruise vacation.

Alcoholic drinks aren't normally included and you have to buy them at the bar, which are quite pricey. So, some of the extra things you pay for are the extra drinks, stuff you buy from the gift shop and tips.

Royal Caribbean is fav cruise, though every cruise line has its own personality so you have to see which one suits you.
