Here are some suggestions of things you can do while in Atlantic City:
1. Climb the Absecon Lighthouse
2. Take a stroll on the famous boardwalk.
3. Visit the Wheaton Village which offers hot glass and craft demonstrations.
4. Visit the Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum and its exhibits of the strange and wonderful.
It's the Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum that i'd want to visit. I wonder if one day is enough to visit the place...
Make sure you take your time when visiting the Ripleys Believe It Or Not Museum. The museum does feature an extensive range of exhibits in different themed galleries that will certainly take a whole afternoon to enjoy.
You can even go online, or contact your Atlantic City reservations agent, and find out about coupons for discounts off admission and even find out more about the history of Robert Ripley and the Ripleys Believe It Or Not Museum in Atlantic City.
Hope this helps
It depends how old you are and who's going with you, but if you can and your budget allows, I'd say catch a show at one of the casinos or gamble a little bit. Other than that, you can go onto the beach, but they charge you to get on, but i'm not sure how much it is.
