if you plan to visit Columbia with the kids, don't miss the EdVenture Children's Museum. This kid's museum is not like all the others. The moment you walk through the front doors you're greeted with EDDIE, who's the world's largest plastic child. Kids can climb his spine up to the brain, crawl through his heart, bounce on his stomach contents and eventually slide out his, um, intestines.

anything else worth exciting to do with kids in Columbia?

The Riverbanks Zoo is one of the best in the country. I've visited many zoos around the world, but the one right here is Columbia is truly world class. You will get up closer to the animals than anywhere you've probably ever been before. they also have a lovely botanical garden.

    EDDIE $1 admission

The EDDIE attraction is huge, quite literary. Even as a grown up you will enjoy it. By the way, the second Tuesday of each month is Family Night. From 5 -8 pm, they only charge $1 admission for each person in your family.
