There's so much going on in California cities and San Diego is no exception. If you're planning a visit, here are a few free activities you might want to add to your SD itinerary: Take a walk through the Gaslamp Quarter filled with its Victorian architecture, galleries, and boutiques. Have a picnic at Torrey Pines State Park, Mission Trails Regional Park or Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Drive to Mt. Laguna for a scenic hike. Bring your snorkeling or scuba gear and check out the underwater sights at La Jolla Cove. Walk the scenic cobblestone pathways that make up Seaport Village. Enjoy window shopping or stopping in one of the many restaurants for refreshments.
what to do in San Diego The cove is a great place to go if you are visiting SD... you really cannot miss La Jolla Cove for snorkeling and seeing the amazing seals in their natural habitat. You also have to go to Sea World, hike to Cabrillo National Monument, pass by Birch Aquarium, and take the kids to Legoland.
go for scenic drives my suggestion is to take a scenic drive up the coast from La Jolla to Oceanside. You will really enjoy that drive since you will be able to pull over if you see some place of interest, visit an antique shop, go to a restaurant to have a bite to eat, or just parking and sitting at a beach and watching people.
