Whichever airport in Nigeria you land at, there will be a ton of taxis waiting for you. Inquiry about the taxi fare before you get into any taxi because you could end up paying a HUGE amount at your destination because you're a tourist (though sometimes certain hotels will pick you up from the airport, which is the best option). The driving experience in Nigeria is not for the faint of heart even when you're not driving so be warned about it.

I regularly visit Nigeria and always choose to arrive and leave via Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. it's probably the best airport in the country but even when landing at any airport, ensure someone from your hotel is meeting you. Never get into a taxi unless you are 100% that it is your driver and be careful about people 'helping' you; they almost always want some money.

The thing about taxis applies everywhere...i dont know why people would do different in Nigeria or anywhere else. Would you get into any taxi back home where you live? By the way, Nigeria only has 4 international airports: Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Port Harcourt International Airport, Abuja International Airport and Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.
