If you're staying in one of the hotels in Luxor, the drive to the tomb is just 30 minutes. The admission fee is around $20, and admission tickets to the tomb are sold in Thebes at the western dock so be sure to get your tickets there.
There are a few hotels on the west bank, if you want to stay longer and explore other tombs. Also be aware that you won't be allowed to take any pictures.
Thanks so much for the information. I had heard that perhaps the tomb was closed to the public or else the admission price was very expensive, so this is very good news.
If anyone has seen Nefertari's tomb I would love to hear your impressions
