I have been to Tonopah pretty recently. There is this beautiful old hotel there called the Mizpah Hotel, which was supposed to be re-opened. Does anyone know anything about this project. Tonopah sure could use another hotel/casino for people.

Located about halfway between Reno and Las Vegas, Tonopah was once known for its silver mines. Today, it's a hotspot of outdoor recreation and home to the Central Nevada Museum and the Tonopah Historic Mining Park. There is a modern Best Western Hi Desert Inn that will provide overnight accommodations. The Mizpah Hotel has opened and has 47 comfortable and stylish guestrooms.
