    National Shrimp Festival is King

I love food so the National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores is one of my favorite ones, also because of the 10k/5k marathon runs. I think this festival has everything going for everyone so even if you dont like shrimp you can always enjoy the activities.

Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic

I like watching hot air balloons so my favorite event is the Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic in late May in Decatur. This event is free to attend and it's really cool. You can see all sorts of very different hot air balloon flights during the day including tethered balloon rides before dusk and at night and see the balloons glowing.
