We will be traveling from Rome to Modena area staying for 5 days traveling around from there then off to Munich via Innsbruck, should those train tickets be purchased in advance or if we are flexible can we book the tickets that day or just go the train station and take the next available seat?

    hi there,

Booking tickets online is probably the better option as you already know where you are going. This would save you time, specially during the summer months when queues in Italy train stations become a problem.

    Hope this helps

We will be traveling on RailEurope passes, do we book through their sites?

Sure, by all means. Just make sure if you book a ticket on departure or ‘E-ticket’, you will need to print your ticket from a self-service machine at the station before you board the train.

    Hope this helps
