Is it better to drive, take a bus, go by train, or sign up with a bike tour to get the most from seeing the countryside and cities along the way when traveling from Rome to Verona?

    Rome to Verona by train

i m not aware of any biking tours doing this leg...still, the train is always the best option when traveling through Italy. Rome is about 5 hours drive from Verona so the fast train will be much quicker and better way to travel from Rome to Verona imo.

Thanks for the biking info for those interested in that type of tour. My personal preference is by train. You can see the countryside up-close and in comfort and the high-speed ItaliaRail trains offer speedy transportation all along the route.

Can anyone give me the guidelines about how we can travel from Rome to Verona? I mean by air, by road or by train? which is the best option?
