United Airlines will launch nonstop flights between Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and Rome's Leonardo da Vinci -Fiumicino Airport from May 16, 2015. United Airlines proposes operational service between Chicago and Rome is 5-6 times a week. Flying time will take around 9-10 hrs either way.
This is great news! I also read that United Airlines will be launching flights from New York/Newark and England, as well as between Washington Dulles and Paris.
united airlines chicago to rome About time though United Airlines isn't going to have it their way unless they are willing to compete because Virgin Atlantic and Delta Airline have already been servicing this route. I wonder how competitive United Airlines will make the round-trip ticket. At the moment, it's around $1,000.
