    hi there,

Aside from obtaining a Utah hunting license, there are a number of Utah hunting regulations worth noting.

If you were born after December 31st, 1965, you will be required to take a hunter education course which is an important one.

The reason behind this it's because in 1957 Utah experienced 126 hunting-related accidents. Sadly, 22 of those accidents were fatal. The state decided to add mandatory hunter education to the Utah hunting regulations since then.

Other Utah hunting regulations pertaining to species that may not be hunted are in effect. You can download the sensitive species list at http://dwrcdc.nr.utah.gov/ucdc/ViewReports/sslist.htm.

    hope this helps
