There are so many things to do on land in Kenya including safaris, tours of the Giriama Village, and hiking the Amboseli National Park and Masai Mara Nature Reserve. There's also a whole other world above and below the waters of Kenya at Watamu Bay. Become an underwater explorer with snorkeling adventures or enjoy a deep sea fishing excursion. Enjoy miles of beach and rocky outcroppings reachable during low tide. Mida Creek is an adventure unto itself with wildlife and bird sightings and the Watamu Marine National Park features its own points of interest.

What would you like to do in Watamu?

Watamu is great for snorkeling and diving...there's a national park there. You can also go for long walks on the beach at low tide. Gede ruins aren't far from Watamu and so is the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, which I believe is the largest forest on east Africa.

The Gedi ruins will easily be the highlight of going to Watamu Bay as well as the taking a walk on the beautiful beaches. Be sure to also take a boat trip along the Mida Creek to see the sun go down and watch the local bird life.
