I love to learn about different place's cuisine. What is the best thing to eat while you're in Honduras? What is traditional? What's your favorite?

    love tortillas con quesillo!

People in Honduras eat things like beans, rice, tortillas, fried plantains, meat, potatoes, cream and cheese.I personally love "tamales", which are made of ground corn and filled with meat, and "tortillas con quesillo", which are basically tortillas filled with melted cheese.

    stews, tortillas, fired bananas, etc

im a big fan of hondura's cuisine! some of my fav restaurant dishes are tapado (a stew made from cassava and meat) and baleadas (tortillas filled with beans, cheese and cream). be sure to also get some crispy tajaditas (fried plantain chips) from the local street vendors, they're super yummy!

Oh that all sounds so good! I'm glad I asked! I don't know what cassava is. What does that taste like? It's been really nice to hear about Honduras dining.
