    Hey Singletraveler,

We are working hard to build our community. Any questions you have please post them up and we'll be sure to answer them. I just replied to another of your posts and I'd request that when you get back from Vegas post up your Trip Report forum here:

Thanks for visiting and have a great time!

We are just kicking it off, my friend..literally....you will see the info explode into a cornacopia of information...trust me....make sure you stay notified of postings..in the meantime, feel free to contact me anytime with questions...

Dan, what kind of "hook ups" are supposed to be discussed here anyway? That's quite a loose topic. The gamut of spin off conversations that could come from that are numerous. VIP hook ups? Casino host hook ups? tickets? shows? scoring with someone? Intriguing nonetheless...

Tell me about the hook ups! Can you get me into any clubs when I go?! I went once and pretty much only saw Sigfed and Roy with my parents.

Hey, I'm going to be in Vegas this month on the 22nd. Unfortunately, I'll be there less than twelve hours on business, with maybe 1 or 2 hours for pleasure. Any suggestions for getting in some Vegas in such a short amount of time?

    Hi Merrylegs,

The good news for you is that Vegas is obviously filled with a ridiculous amount of entertainment. You can take a cab from the airport to the strip and it won't take you longer then 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Since you'll want to be back to the airport a few hours before your flight, you'll have at least 8 hours or so of solid Vegas time.

I'm not sure which 12 hours of the day or night you will be there, but you might take in a show. You can buy tickets online in advance, though they are usually cheaper at little box offices throughout the hotels on the strip. Since you don't want to waste time standing in line, though, I'd reccommend either skipping the shows or buying a ticket in advance.

If you want to drink and gamble, I would reccommend heading to a casino like Ceasar's or Bellagio; once you've been sitting for a little while you'll get free drinks. This is basically true of all the casinos so you can really just choose your favorite. I would also reccommend heading to "New York New York". You can ride their rollercoaster, check out their themed and enormous casino, and when you're done the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio Fountain are not too far away.

Looks like you're probably in Vegas this very moment, Merrylegs. Be sure to let us know what you ended up doing in those couple hours of freedom!

They just opened the Beachers Bar (in front of Imperial Palace of all places)...worth a look for a few hours of fun and craziness...if you are there at night and sicne it is a Tuesday, head to Caesars for some dinner, shopping and Pussy Cat Dolls/PURE
