I am currently writing an itinerary for a week trip to Michigan starting this weekend, December 11. My team really wants to go to Coopersville, Michigan. I just want to know if there's a place where we can take photos and professional videos (something that we are going to use for documentation and for commercial purposes and for our movie project). We recently bought a UDI U818A RC Quadcopter coz they said it's best for professional videos. What do you think? And can you advise me where to take our drone? This project will be due after Christmas break so we need to get this done before the holidays. I am not familiar to Michigan and we're from Montana. Your help will be really appreciated! Thank you.

This time of year does sound that great but you might check out Sleeping Bear Dunes or Mackinac Island. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore would be another good place.

Well this is really late...did you make it up there? Coopersville has some farms with wide open landscapes that would be good for landscaping. Plus, there is a farm museum there that might be neat to photograph. Other than that, you're probably better heading down the road a bit to Holland or Muskegon where the beaches would look fantastic from a drone photograph. In December, there is plenty of snow on the beach and ice floes that look really cool. I looked back through my photos and found this one of the beach. I have more, but this is what I could get to easily. That's the state park in Holland, which is about 20 minutes from Coopersville.
