Toulouse Airport

The Toulouse Airport is a common point of entry to southern France. A relatively busy airport, it offers a variety of and services. Travelers should also find the ground transportation options to be more than sufficient. There is also a popular attraction that is right next door. The airport in Toulouse, or the Toulouse Blagnac Airport, calls the city's northwest suburbs home. The center of Toulouse is approximately seven miles away, and due north is the smaller commune of Blagnac. Shuttle buses travel between the airport and the Toulouse city center between the hours of 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Four different stops are made along the way, and the trip only takes about 20 minutes. The taxis can be found just outside of the arrival level and the ground floor level. It is usually possible to hire one at the entrances of Gate C or Gate D. Should travelers have trouble finding a taxi, they can arrange for one to pick them up at the airport's convenient call center. As for other Toulouse Airport transportation options, renting a car is a possibility that many a traveler will favor. A few North American-based brands have a presence at the Toulouse Airport, and there are at least two European companies as well.

Whether on arriving or departing flights, air travelers will find many facilities at their disposal here. WiFi is available, and a variety of beverages and snacks can be ordered. There is an access fee for the lounge, and its operating hours are 6:10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A number of bars and restaurants can be found at the Toulouse Blagnac Airport, and there are several shops to check out. ATMs can be found at the airport should the funds need replenished before a shopping or dining session, and visitors can rely on two different Travelex desks when trying to exchange currency. A bank also figures among the Toulouse Airport facilities, as does a well-equipped business center, and multi-lingual staff members are in good supply throughout.
