Toulouse Bed and Breakfasts

Toulouse bed and breakfasts come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be found both in the city and the surrounding countryside. Being out in the country has its advantages in terms of peace and quiet, while a Toulouse B&B closer to the heart of town provides easier access to shops, restaurants, and a variety of top attractions. Either way, getting around shouldn't be difficult for travelers who choose to stay at one of the B&Bs, as the public transportation system is excellent and there are car rental options too.

Travelers who wish to find a Toulouse B&B that is situated in the city center area won't want to overlook the Les Loges de Saint Sernin. Situated at 12 rue Saint-Bernard, this four-unit guesthouse is extremely close to the amazing St Sernin Basilica, and one of the city's metro stops is a short walk away. The hosts speak English, which is just one more reason to give Les Loges de Saint Sernin a stamp of approval, and guests should find the rooms to be quite comfortable. Three out of the four have fireplaces, while all boast private bathrooms and plenty of style. Internet access is included in the reasonable rates, and the complimentary breakfasts feature plenty of goodies. Should you indulge in too many French pastries, you can always try to walk off the calories while sightseeing.

Also within easy walking distance of central Toulouse and the famed Capitole is the Les Chambres du Palais B&B at 7 rue des Fleurs. One of the best things about this Toulouse B&B is the fact that guests have access to kitchen facilities. The good rates and the satisfying breakfasts also lend to the allure of Les Chambres du Palais, but that's not where the perks end. The hosts are known for providing excellent service, and there is a metro stop a block away.

The Maison d'hotes Anjali at 86 Grande rue Saint Michel is another downtown area B&B that Toulouse visitors might add to their lists when looking to stay close to the heart of it all. As for those who prefer staying outside of the city, there's La Pradasse. A relaxing retreat, this B&B is located in the village of Ayguesvives, which in turn is about twelve miles southeast of Toulouse. A garden setting adds to the relaxing nature of La Pradasse, and all five guests units have style and comfort at the heart of things. Also stylish and comfortable is the additional Gypsy Caravan unit, which resembles a small cottage.

Travelers might also look to expand their horizons while searching for inns in Toulouse, as there is at least one gem that can be found outside of town. This inn is known as the Chateau de Seguenville, and as the name would imply, you can locate it in the village of Seguenville. This means that the Toulouse Airport is a half-hour trip away. There are five total guestrooms at the Chateau de Sequenville, and they are all comfortable and cozy. A traditional French breakfast greets guests in the morning, and a tempting, multi-course dinner can be enjoyed onsite for an added fee as long guests arrange everything at least 24 hours in advance.
