Manarola Hotels

Manarola is one of the five villages that make up the CInque Terre region of the Italian Riviera. The town is connected to the other villages—Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, and Riomaggiore—by a Cinque Terre hiking trail that covers miles of rocky coast. Although the village is small with a population of less than a thousand, there are a number of hotels in Manarola to choose from. One option for Manarola hotels is the Hotel Marina Piccola. This Manarola lodging option is located on a bluff just steps away from the Mediterranean Sea. Visitors can choose between small single rooms or larger double rooms. Like most Manarola hotels, the Hotel Marina Piccola has several balconies that look out to the sea and also have views of nearby vineyards and lemon trees. Each morning, the Manarola accommodation serves a hearty breakfast in its dining room. Eating breakfast at hotels in Manarola is an excellent way to socialize and get ready for the day"s activities, such as hiking the Cinque Terre.

The Ca"d"Andrean is a popular option in Manarola lodging. This Manarola accommodation is located right up the hill from the train station, which is convenient if you"re taking a Cinque Terre train to another village. The rooms are simple and clean with just the basics, such as a dresser and a writing desk. Guests will be within walking distance of terraced gardens and old churches. If you"re a late sleeper, you may want to wear ear plugs, as the bell from the church down the street is known to wake up sleepy guests. A homemade breakfast is served every morning in an intimate lemon grove for a modest cost. If you"re not able to walk long or steep distances, be warned that there will be a lot of walking involved to get to your room. The hotel itself is located at one of the highest elevations in the town of Manarola, and the hotel doesn"t have an elevator.

If you"re searching for clean and comfortable Manarola lodging at an affordable price, the Alla Porta Rosa Guest House may be what you"re looking for. A family-run Manarola accommodation, the Alla Porta Rosa makes sure guests are well taken care of. The rooms are always clean and provide basic amenities. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking the Mediterranean. A free breakfast is served daily.

Since there aren"t enough Manarola hotels to accommodate all of the summer tourists, it"s a good idea to book your hotel months in advance if possible. Most of the front desk employees speak a bit of English, but it"s always best to have a translation book handy when reserving your hotel just in case.
