Positano Italy Hotels

Positano Italy hotels enjoy unbelievable locations along the Amalfi Coast. It is hard to imagine anyone not having an amazing time or enjoying their hotel on this wonderful island. There is a Positano accommodation for just about anyone, including a variety of hotels, rentals, and Positano villas. Although the island of Positano and the surrounding Amalfi Coast comprise some of the most stunningly beautiful areas of Italy and the Mediterranean coast, it is sometimes even possible to find accommodations that will not force you to break the bank. Planning is key, but you really cannot go wrong when choosing among accommodations on this lovely island.

Buca di Bacco (pictured) is one of the oldest establishments on Positano and now serves as an elegant hotel with all of the classic charm you can possibly imagine. Features of guest rooms include antique writing desks, elegant furnishings, plush bedding, and of course, amazing vistas of the sea in the distance. Many rooms feature furnished terraces that overlook the sea and there is a wonderful restaurant and bar onsite. The helpful and attentive staff will be happy to arrange for tours of the islands or of nearby Naples, or just make dinner reservations. This is a Postiano accommodation where you can simply allow your worries to slip away upon arrival.

Hotel Posa Posa is another of the most impressive Positano Italy hotels. It is also one of the oldest. This should not suggest to you that it is anything other than luxurious and classic, as the greatest effort has been put into the careful restoration and rehabilitation of every corner of the hotel. There is a restaurant and wine bar in the hotel, as well as a gym and solarium. You are located right on the beach when you stay at this hotel, so you will not have to go far to enjoy the warming sand and surf of the Mediterranean Sea. Positano Italy hotels can be found all over the island, but only so many have the classic charm and appeal that the Posa Posa and Buca di Bacco have.

If you are more interested in securing one of the Positano villas as opposed to a hotel, you will have plenty of options to be sure. Positano was once a sleepy fishing village until it was identified by artists, painters, and celebrities as a point of interest for vacation and their creative work. Now the colorful, seaside Positano villas are available for rent for the right amount of money. Availability can sometimes be an issue with the nicest villas so you will want to do you planning as far in advance as possible. The Villa Oliviero is just one example of the luxury villas that are available on the island of Positano. This opulent villa is fully equipped with every conceivable amenity and modern comfort while also being positioned in what must be one of the most beautiful locations in the world. There are many such Positano villas. One great advantage to going the villa route is that you can be very selective with every part of the accommodation, from location and size, to style and amenities.
