Recent renovation, however, has restored this four star hotel to its former 15th century splendor. Guest rooms range from Standard rooms located in the hotel’s interior to Superior rooms and junior suites overlooking the Pantheon and the Piazza della Rotunda. Rooms in the front of the hotel offer balconies, which open out to the piazza. In addition, the hotel offers six spacious family suites in an adjacent building, for of which offer views of the Pantheon, as well. All rooms come with whirlpool bathtubs, satellite television, and air conditioning. One of the Albergo del Sol al Pantheon’s most popular amenities is its breakfast buffet. This morning feast is included in the room rate and is especially enjoyable when taken on the outdoor garden patio, open from April to October or when weather permits.
