Amalfi Coast Hotels

The Amalfi Coast hotels are numerous and include some of the best hotels that you will find anywhere in the world. This has a lot to do with the popularity of the Amalfi Coast as a vacation destination, and it certainly doesn't hurt that the scenery along this coastal region is utterly breathtaking. Stunningly beautiful cliffs meet the rich blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea in this part of the country, and attractions such as historic churches and pastel-colored houses serve to accentuate the overall setting.

Luxury Amalfi Coast Hotels

The top Amalfi Coast hotels have little trouble satisfying even the most discerning of travelers. These hotels include the Hotel Palazzo Sasso and the Hotel Caruso, both of which are among the many enticing Ravello hotels. These luxury hotels occupy historic structures that are architecturally inspiring, and the modern amenities are aplenty.

The cities of Positano and Amalfi are where you will find many of the top Amalfi Coast luxury hotels. In Positano, for example, you can find the Il San Pietro di Positano. As you might expect when it comes to luxury hotels in general, the Il San Pietro features a fantastic spa to go with its other tantalizing facilities. As for the top luxury hotels in Amalfi, none is more renowned than the Santa Caterina Hotel. Among this upscale hotel's main attributes is a private beach, and both the rooms and suites feature such fine touches as antique furnishings and amazing bathrooms.

Mid-Priced Amalfi Coast Hotels.

Not all travelers who are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast will be looking to stay in the top tier luxury hotels. Part of the reason for this is the fact that there are plenty of more affordable hotels to select from. Many of the mid-priced Amalfi Coast accommodations offer a considerable amount of quality between them. Take the Hotel Buca di Bacco (pictured) in Positano or the Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro in Maiori. The Hotel Buca di Bacco sits on Positano's Big Beach, and the guest units are very well-equipped. Satellite TV and marble-accented baths are among the standard amenities. Another good option is the Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro; it overlooks the town of Maori from a cliff side perch, and guests enjoy a certain amount of intimacy because of the low room count. They also enjoy amenities such as flat-screen TVs, high-speed Internet access, and custom-made furnishings.

Cheap Amalfi Coast Hotels

Cheap Amalfi Coast accommodations are hard to come by, especially during the peak summer season. That being said, there are a number of good hotels in the region that maintain reasonable rates throughout the year. One such example is the Hotel Floridiana, which is just steps from the Duomo in Amalfi and offers tasteful guest units that are on the larger side. There's also the delightful Hotel Margherita in Praiano. It is known for its inviting restaurant and its all around value.

Other Amalfi Coast hotels that fall on the cheaper side of the scale, but still manage to offer a lot in the way of comfort and service are the Pelegrino Pensione in Praiano, the Hotel Parsifal in Ravello, and the Hotel - Albergo California in Positano.

If any or all of these hotels are booked when you go to make your Amalfi Coast travel plans, worry not, as there are scores of other gems to select from. You might also look to entertain the other options when it comes to Amalfi Coast accommodations. These options include renting a rustic room at the family-run Agriturismo Serafina farm, which is known for serving up excellent food in its traditional restaurant. This region also boasts an array of vacation rentals, the likes of which include some spectacular villas.
