Canary Island Villas

Canary Island villas provide a comfortable place to anchor when exploring these Spanish islands. Perched in the Atlantic Ocean, south of the Spanish mainland and just north of Morocco, the Canary Islands have many pluses on their side—fantastic weather year-round, diverse landscapes, regularly available flights, a long list of things to do, and many choices of where to stay.

The decision of where to stay is an important one, but no matter where you choose, you'll still enjoy beautiful views, warm island hospitality, and the fantastic Canary Islands weather. The average temperature is 68 degrees, with little variation from season to season, and most days are filled with bright sunshine. Many of the villas and bungalows have porches and balconies, perfect for watching the sunrise and admiring nature's beauty.

Canary Island villas are found on all seven of the Canary Islands. If you'd like to do some island hopping, it's easy to get from one island to the other, thanks to frequent flights and ferry service. So even if you plan to stay at one of the villas in Lanzarote or one of the Tenerife villas, you could make a daytrip to La Palma, Fuerteventura, or any of the other lovely islands, and return to your accommodations in time to get a good night's sleep.

Lanzarote is home to wide variety of places to stay, including resorts, international hotels, apartment rentals, and bungalows. When you choose one of the villas in Lanzarote, you'll enjoy plenty of privacy and many of the comforts of home. The islands are fully modern, so it's not uncommon to find air conditioning, satellite TV, cozy linens, minibars, and more in the well-equipped Canary Island villas.

Many villas in Lanzarote, as on the other Canary Islands, are located close to the beautiful beaches. Throughout the islands, there is about every kind of beach you'd imagine, including black-sand volcanic beaches, stretches of golden sand, fine white sands, and dunes. Some of these spots are quiet, some bustling with activity. With reservation at a beachside bungalow, you'll be close to all of the action, whether you want to lounge in the sun or take advantage of the waves, perfect for surfing and diving.

On the largest of the Canary Islands, you'll find Tenerife villas perched along black-sand beaches, along golden stretches of sun and surf, in charming fishing villages, and in bustling cities. San Cristóbal de La Laguna, on the northern coast, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in honor of its history. Tenerife villas are found here, as well as in the nearby city of Santa Cruz, which serves as the capital of the Canary Islands, along with Las Palmas on the island of Gran Canaria.

If you're looking for a chance to relax, a visit to Gran Canaria is in order. The bustling island is filled with interesting places to explore from beautiful beaches to towering mountains. You'll find Gran Canaria villas located close to all of this wonderful scenery, and in the city of Las Palmas. And with an abundance of dining options, spas, golf courses, and excellent shopping, there's plenty to turn a visiting into a relaxing escape from the every day.

No matter which island you choose, there will be a wide range of experiences to savor. If you're wonder what to add to your plans after you've arrive, a quick chat with your innkeeper or other villa guests will give you lots of ideas. With so many options for a villa rental in the Canary Islands, you'll be sure to find the perfect place to stay while enjoying an island getaway.
