Luxury Cordoba Hotels

Luxury Cordoba hotels provide very tantalizing lodging options in one of Spain's best tourist cities. Guests at these hotels can expect very comfortable accommodations, enticing facilities, and excellent locations near a variety of amazing attractions. Add in the increased attention to service, and the upscale hotels in Cordoba only become that much more attractive.

There are three 5 star Cordoba hotels, and they include the inviting Hospes Palacio del Bailio (pictured). Found near the Palace of Viana at 10-12 Calle Ramirez de las Casas Deza, this delightful Cordoba boutique hotel certainly enjoys an excellent location in the city's historic core. The building itself was a former palace that was built in the 1500s, and today, it is Cultural Heritage Monument. Historical charm is one of the Hospes Palacio del Bailio's main calling cards, but that doesn't mean that modern conveniences are lacking. In the 53 rooms and suites, the decor is on the chic side, and standard amenities include plasma TVs with satellite programming, DVD players, and high-speed Internet access. Luxury bedding is just one more amenity highlight, and all guests, regardless of which room they select, have free access to the hotel's outdoor pool and the Roman baths at the onsite spa. Other facilities include a tapas bar and a restaurant.

Down closer to the famed Mezquita-Catedral is another luxury Cordoba hotel that discerning travelers won't want to overlook. This hotel is the Las Casas de la Juderia, and its location at Calle Tomas Conde 10-12 puts it just 200 meters from the Mezquita Catedral, to be more exact. A great location isn't the only thing to like about this hotel. The 64 elegant rooms and suites are very comfortable, and it doesn't hurt that they are equipped with things such as satellite TV, mini bars, safes, hair dryers, and private bathrooms with jetted tubs. Outside of the rooms and suites, Las Casas de la Juderia guests will find a spa, a restaurant, and a 24 reception/concierge desk.

Rounding out the list of 5 star Cordoba hotels is the AC Cordoba Palacio, which is situated very close to the Puerta de Almodovar. Its location along the Paseo de la Victoria means that the Juderia, or Jewish Quarter, is just a short stroll away, the Puerta de Almodovar being a main access point. When guests aren't out exploring the Juderia during their stay at the modern AC Cordoba Palacio, they can kick back on their cozy bed and see what's on the flat screen TV. Whatever is in the mini bar is free, which is a nice added touch, and staying in touch with friends and family back home is easy with the Wi-Fi capabilities. Both a tub and shower are found inside the private bathrooms, and the views from each and every unit are wonderful. Only adding to the allure of the AC Cordoba Palacio is the excellent onsite restaurant, the relaxing terrace, the attractive outdoor pool, and the well-equipped fitness center.
