The town has been turned into a resort after European vacationers discovered its beaches and it has now attracted a somewhat rowdy crowd. Despite this, there have been great efforts to cater towards an upmarket group. Aiguera Park offers free cultural activities throughout the year that give great insight into Spanish culture. The main attraction for vacationers is the two white-sand beaches. They are perfect for basking in the sun or playing the mild Mediterranean water. The area is also known for its vibrant nightlife and bar scene.

Denia is another great spot on the Costa Blanca Spain, the northernmost resort spot on the White Coast. The gorgeous resort area has been awarded European Blue Flags for their water quality, boasts various white-sand beaches and a varying coastline. Other than the beach, just walking around this quaint town will make visitors feel at peace. The cobbled streets, historical monuments and old buildings all add to the atmosphere of Denia. The restaurants here are known as amongst the best of the Costa Blanca and are constantly serving up fresh Mediterranean dishes, tapas, and other regional cuisines. The Montgo National Park is also another popular site in the area as it is home to many varieties of flora and fauna.

Torrevieja, on the southern end of the Costa Blanca, has been one of the most popular destinations for years and continues to draw travelers in year after year. The low-key atmosphere and excellent beaches have all added to the draw. It is the place to go if you are looking to relax, catch some rays and enjoy the local cuisine. The temperature here is marvelous year-round and visitors can almost guarantee sunshine. Walking around Torrevieja is also a great thing to do as visitors can take in the variety of architecture and the unique culture that exists here.
