Granada bed and breakfast hotels aren't abundant in number, though visitors to this wonderful Spanish city can find at least one in the heart of town. Others are found outside of Granada proper in the beautiful Spanish countryside or in nearby towns. Either way, great attractions such as the Alhambra will be easy to reach, as will regional attractions like the beaches of Costa Tropical.
When searching for a Granada bed and breakfast right in the city, travelers will certainly want to consider the Granada B&B Homestay (pictured). The only B&B in the heart of town, the Granada B&B Homestay offers very close proximity to Granada attractions like the Basilica de San Juan de Dios and the historic Albaicin district. It also offers a good selection of rooms. Two of the rooms share a bathroom and are thus very cheap, while the others have private baths and still maintain relatively low rates, offering an alternative to local apartments and hotels. Regardless of which room they select, guests can expect the standard amenities to include a tea/coffee maker, a hair dryer, clean towels, shower gel, free Wi-Fi, and a mini fridge. Breakfast is self-served and features orange juice, bread, jam, butter, cheese, milk, and yogurt.
Since there aren't a ton of Granada Spain B&Bs in Granada proper, those who have their heart set on such accommodations might consider the smaller towns and villages in the nearby area. These towns and villages include Granada province destinations such as Alhama de Granada and Albunuelas. In Alhama de Granada, a rural farmhouse called El Amparo offers six rooms and one apartment figures among the bed and breakfast options. Should you wish, it can be rented in full as a villa. Facilities include a pool and a hot tub, and the owners are happy to provide guests with complimentary mountain bikes and regional tourism tips.
As for the bed and breakfasts that can be found in Albunuelas, there is one local lodging establishment that features two en-suite rooms and a self-contained apartment rental. It is known as Casa Azul. Satellite TV can be enjoyed in the communal lounge at Casa Azul, and there are books and board games to take advantage of when you're not out exploring the town or spending time in Granada. The rooms and the apartment, while not luxurious, provide more than enough comfort for most, and the rates are certainly enticing. For an added fee, Casa Azul guests can add dinner to the picture, which is a convenient dining option.
Albunuelas calls the scenic Lecrin Valley home, and this valley is home to a good number of B&B hotels. Another example is a six-room bed and breakfast that can be found in the village of Pinos del Valle and is called the Casa Aire de Lecrin. It is just a 30-minute trip to Granada if you stay in Pinos del Valle, and the beaches of the Costa Tropical area are only around a twenty-minute drive away. Back at the B&B, the facilities include a lovely patio area and a small outdoor pool. There is also a roof terrace that can seat up to twenty.
