Granada Spain Villas

Granada Spain villas provide visitors to the Granada region with some very splendid lodging options. Most of these home rental properties are equipped with all of the comforts that you would expect to enjoy in your own house or apartment, and space shouldn't be an issue. Multiple bedrooms are the norm, and this alone helps to make the villa rentals in Granada Spain extra popular with families and other small groups.

There are villa rentals in Granada Spain that are close to the city. An example of this are the villas that are found in the village of Otura. Travelers who opt to stay at one of these villas will be just a short drive from Granada attractions like the Nasrid Palace, and even closer are the various things that the town itself has to offer. These things include restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets. There's even a golf course in Otura, and it doesn't hurt that the local tennis complex is renowned. If you want to stay right in the city, you may want to investigate apartments, hotels, and hostels, of which there are many within the city limits.

Most of the Granada Spain villas aren't situated in the city itself. Instead, they can be found in smaller towns and villages that call the Granada province home. Among these towns and villages is the town of Alhama de Granada, which is approximately 30 miles from Granada proper. At least one daily bus links Alhama de Granada to the city of Granada, and you can always opt to rent a car if you wish to be in direct control of your transportation. As for the villas in Alhama de Granada, there are not many to choose from, though there are some true gems here. Among them is a two-bedroom country retreat with a private pool, barbecue facilities, and a lovely terrace. These are just some of the amenities that you might expect to find at the villa rentals in Granada Spain.

Another destination that can make an excellent Granada area travel base is Costa Tropical. A coastal region, Costa Tropical boasts some of the best beaches in Spain, and there are plenty of options for things to do when you're not relaxing on the sand. There are also plenty of vacation rentals to choose from, with the area villas being the best of the bunch. Some of the villas are found high in the mountains, while others are closer to the beach, so visitors can make their selections according to preference. Nearly every villa rental in the Costa Tropical region has a private pool, an inviting terrace, and peaceful gardens. Guests can also expect to have things such as a full kitchen, a washing machine, and a dryer at their disposal, not to mention satellite TV and Internet access.

Regardless of the location of your Granada Spain villa, getting to and from the province capital shouldn't take very long. Generally speaking, a village or town of some kind will also be within easy reach, as will the ski slopes in the Sierra Nevadas and any other number of things. Perhaps you'll even take a side trip to one of the other major cities in Spain's southern Andalucia region during your Granada villa stay. Cordoba and Seville figure prominently among these cities. The options for things to do on the side are extensive when you stay at a villa in Granada, and therein lies the allure for many travelers.
