Ibiza Rocks Hotel

The Ibiza Rocks Hotel—formerly the popular Club Paraiso Mediterraneo—is a very good accommodation for those who want to party at the local nightclubs and bars, on the beaches, and even from the balconies of their own rooms.

Ibiza Rocks in San Antonio benefits from being located in the island’s original party town, and it is set right in the center of the area with some of the most famous nightclubs, including El Paradis and Eden. These two clubs and their legendary parties are within walking distance of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel and the hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the full clubbing experience that San Antonio has to offer. During the afternoon, guests can make their way down to Sunset Strip on the west side of town for the time-honored sundowners at the trendy music bars that are set on the point famous for its spectacular sunsets. They then can make their leisurely way down the strip on a traditional pub crawl, stopping for dinner or tapas, and arrive at the big nightclubs at the fashionable hour of 10 p.m. or midnight to party through the night. Somewhere around dawn, they will find themselves back within stumbling distance of the Ibiza Rocks in San Antonio and their “recovery” room.

When it was still the Club Paraiso Mediterraneo this location (and its attractive pricing) made it very popular with young people. Then it became the Ibiza Rocks Hotel and underwent some changes, making it an even more desirable property, with the same kind of attractions as the famous Jet Apartments across the island on Playa den Bossa outside of Ibiza Town. Guests at those properties can party at the legendary Bora Bora Beach Bar in the afternoon, then make their way to the Space Nightclub, and be within walking distance of their lodging come dawn.

The remodeling at Club Paraiso Mediterraneo most notably included the transformation of the central courtyard with its large swimming pool into a concert venue with a stage and party spot. This means that guests can awaken after their night of partying and start right in again without ever leaving their rooms. The high-rise Ibiza Rocks in San Antonio encircles this central courtyard where popular bands and disc jockeys are booked throughout the summer peak season. Balcony rooms that face the courtyard and pool cost a bit more, but mean you can attend the gigs right from your room. Don’t purchase this option if you want a quiet night’s sleep; and bear in mind that this is an adult-only lodging—no children allowed. The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day, and in addition to the formal gigs, pool parties are held throughout the day and night.

This is definitely not one of the island’s luxury hotels, and it is extremely attractively priced. Many purchase their vacations at this place from their homes as packages that include round-trip flights, accommodations in the Ibiza Rocks Hotel as well as hotel gig tickets. The hotel has ample public areas, bars and dining spots, and a total of three swimming pools. Studios and apartments sleep two to four guests, and are equipped with kitchenette and fridge.
