Ibiza Town Hotels

The Ibiza Town hotels fall into a wide variety of categories, price range, and standard, and you are sure to find Ibiza Town accommodation that will suit whatever your particular interests are. This is the capital and largest city on the island, so there is a little something for everyone.

Although most of the young people who come for the nightclubs and parties will stay on nearby Playa den Bossa, there are some party hotels in Ibiza Town that are near the historic Pacha Nightclub. There is also lodging in Ibiza Town that is quite inexpensive, even though the majority of apartments and wilder party hotels are down on the beach.

For the Ibiza Town accommodation most similar to hostels, you might try the Casa de Huespedes, a charming guest house. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and comfortable. Each has a view of the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage city and a washbasin. The rooms on each floor share toilets and showers. It is set right below the castle walls of Dalt Vila. Other good budget hotels in Ibiza Town include the La Marina Hostel. Although it calls itself a hostel, it is actually a budget hotel. Rooms are modest , but clean and comfortable, and have complete private bathrooms. It is set in four buildings on the Playa den Bossa side of the harbor.

Ibiza Town hotels in the mid-range standard include the El Puerto Hotel and Apartments, set below the old city and on the avenue that leads to the beaches of Playa den Bossa and Las Salinas. This is an excellent property with 93 hotel rooms with balconies offering the services of a full hotel with daily maid service and included breakfast. An all-inclusive half-board option can be booked that includes dinner as well as select complimentary cocktails. The apartment section has units sleeping up to four people and full kitchen. There is maid service in the apartments every other day and linen changing every four days. Also in this standard and in the same neighborhood is the Es Vive, an adults-only luxury boutique hotel.

On the other end of the scale for five star Ibiza Town hotels is the beautiful Ibiza Gran Hotel, located only a block from Pacha and within a ten-minute taxi ride to the famed Space Nightclub. Despite its central location, this exclusive property provides an oasis of serenity, and its opulent suites boast spectacular views of the busy harbor and Dalt Vila. There is a luxurious full-service spa, two swimming pools, stunning public areas graced with a superb collection of Spanish art, and fine gourmet dining. The hotel also has its own casino, with a variety of table games and slot machines.

Another of the luxury hotels in Ibiza Town is the Mirador de Dalt Vila (pictured), a chic and intimate boutique hotel within the ancient walls of the citadel in the old city. Open for the summer 2010 season is another luxury hotel that is connected to the Pacha Nightclub—the El Hotel de Pacha.

This is a small island, and only a couple minutes away is beautiful rural countryside. If you want Ibiza Town accommodation with the atmosphere and history of a traditional finca (farm), you might check out the Can Guillem Country Hotel or the Can Pere Country Hotel. Both are in lovely nineteenth-century farmhouses only about 2 miles from the city.
