San Antonio Hotels

The many San Antonio hotels are predominantly geared toward the young people who come here for the “Sunset Strip” music bars, all night parties, and famous nightclubs. There are a few family oriented hotels and properties good for a romantic getaway, but these are primarily located a bit out of town. Almost all hotels in the center of town are ideal for young people looking to party. Some are actually party spots themselves.

A perfect example is the Ibiza Rocks Hotel (formerly the Club Paraiso Mediterraneo) that is located only a block or so from the famous Eden Club. This lodging in San Antonio is also one of the town’s popular party spots. It is a high-rise structure built around a central courtyard and swimming pool that has been transformed into a party venue with a concert stage, and the balcony rooms facing the courtyard are priced a little more expensively because the rooms location allow you to enjoy the performances right from your balcony pretty much 24 hours a day. As with similar hotels in San Antonio Ibiza this is an adults-only property.

The Sant Antoni accommodations that cater to families are generally on the south side of town, away from the music bars and towards the quieter beaches of Cala Tarida or north of town along Cala Salada Beach. The Stella Maris Holiday Club is one of these. This is one of the San Antonio hotels that caters especially to family vacations, and offers supervised and organized children’s programs during the day, babysitting services at night, and a variety of bungalows, apartments, and hotel rooms. Another of these hotels in San Antonio Ibiza is the Hotel Cala Gracio, set in a quiet area south of town, with direct access to a private beach. Still, it is only a short stroll into town.

Sant Antoni accommodations that provide romantic luxury getaways are also available. The town and this western facing part of the island are famous for spectacular sunsets, making the area a popular wedding venue and perfect for honeymoons. You might want to check out the deluxe Club Victoria Country Hotel, set in lovely gardens on hillside with fabulous views of the sea and town, and of the wonderful sunsets. It is a beautiful property with luxurious rooms, a gourmet restaurant, sundowner cocktail terrace with 360 degree panoramic views, swimming pool, fitness center, and sauna. It boasts its own helipad, and things to do here include horseback riding and hiking in the picturesque countryside. This is the best of the town’s luxury hotels.

Budget hotels in San Antonio Ibiza are plentiful. Many of these call themselves hostels, but actually are “hostals,” a unique kind of lodging that is common throughout Spain, Central and South America, and California. They are more like pensions and small family run bed and breakfast inns. Almost without exception, the rooms offer private bathrooms, and the property will have a restaurant and bar, sometimes a swimming pool and similar facilities. San Antonio hotels like this are generally one- and two-star properties like the Mitjorn Hostel. Simple but clean and comfortable rooms have full private bathrooms and balconies. There is a swimming pool with café and bar, and the hotel is only a few blocks away from the famous Eden and El Paradis nightclubs.

Four star Sant Antoni accommodations right in the center of all the action are also available. Try the Hotel Bellamar (pictured), near the marina and nightclubs, and only a few steps from the town’s main beaches. There are rooms as well as suites, a restaurant, café, bar, and swimming pool. There is also a wellness center complete with fitness rooms, massage service, Turkish bath, and more.
