There are Ibiza vacations to suit visitors of all ages, traveling on any budget, and with just about any taste. A family vacation to Ibiza to Ibiza can take advantage of several all inclusive hotels that include the cost of many activities, three meals daily, and supervised children’s activities.

An Ibiza party vacation is by far the most popular. The island is world famous for its nightlife and hedonistic all night parties, and some of the world’s most famous nightclubs are located here. Quite often, and Ibiza party vacation is marketed as a package that generally includes roundtrip flights, accommodation in hotels of one standard or another, and admission to at least one of the parties at a nightclub. These kinds of vacations to Ibiza will often have lodging in one of the many apartment complexes on the island.

The Jet Apartments on famous Playa den Bossa are much sought after, and offer four distinct types of accommodation. There is a hostel type hotel, an exclusive luxury hotel, and two mid-range apartment complexes right near the legendary Space Nightclub. The Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio can provide an Ibiza party vacation without ever leaving the property. Its central courtyard and swimming pool has been transformed into a party venue and concert stage, and balcony rooms over the courtyard are like the VIP suites at nightclubs. It also is located within a block or so of the famous Eden Club and a fifteen-minute walk from the west side of town celebrated for its numerous beachside music bars and fabulous sunsets.

Things to do on Ibiza vacations other than partying include hiking, windsurfing and parasailing, scuba diving, and even golf (near Ibiza Town). Dalt Villa, the old section of Ibiza Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a magnificent hilltop walled citadel and labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets and alleys. Within sight of Ibiza Town and only two miles away is the lovely small island of Formentera, with pristine deserted beaches that are the opposite from the nonstop party atmosphere of Playa den Bossa, and it well worthwhile for your Ibiza vacations to include at least one day excursion to this lovely place. You can also embark on round the island ferries that stop at many of the main resorts and towns along the coastline.

Family vacations to Ibiza do not have to be shoulder to shoulder with young (often drunk) party animals. There are several quiet resort areas that are very popular with families, including the little town of Portinatx on the far east coast, Cala Tarida on the far west, and Santa Eulalia near Es Cana Beach. Several of the family oriented hotels and resorts offer babysitting services, so parents can take a night away from the children for a little clubbing. This is a small island, and almost everything, including the clubs, is within about a 30-minute drive.
