Found just fifteen miles southeast of Madrid, this park was formerly known as Warner Brothers Movie World. While the name may have changed, the movie theme hasn't. These areas include the Old West Territory, Hollywood Boulevard, DC Super Heroes World, Cartoon Village, and Warner Bros. Movie World Studios.
There are lots of different ways to stay entertained on a visit to Parque Warner Madrid Spain. When hunger or thirst set in, there is enough in the way of restaurants to satisfy your needs. When you aren't riding the rides or seeing what the restaurants have to offer, you might hit up the shops. All kinds of TV and movie-related memorabilia can be found at the various shops, and this follows along with the park's overall theme. It is worth noting that the various dining facilities at the Parque Warner Theme Park can be used for private parties and corporate events. In fact, the park in general can accommodate private affairs of varying kinds with its array of venues, including cocktail parties and conferences.
Most Parque Warner Madrid Spain visitors don't have a cocktail parties and conferences in mind. Instead, they come to enjoy the rides and shows. In the Old West Territory area, the rides include a spectacular wooden roller coaster and a log ride that you will want to steer clear of when staying dry is the aim. Over at the Superheroes World, some of the more intense rides can be found, and they include an inverted roller coaster that is not for the faint of heart. Other options for things to do at this fun Madrid Amusement Park include watching a 3D movie at the Hollywood Boulevard area's Chinese Theatre, shooting water guns at the Yogi Bear play area, and letting the kids run wild at the kid-friendly Cartoon Village.
If you like amusement parks, you are bound to enjoy a visit to the Parque Warner Theme Park. The park is open from April to mid-October, and the hours vary depending on the month and day. The park generally opens around 11 a.m. and closes around 10 p.m. on weekdays. On weekends, it can stay open until midnight or even 3 a.m. on some occasions. As far as getting to this family-friendly Madrid amusement park is concerned, you can drive, take the train, or hop on a bus. Unfortunately, the Metro doesn't reach this far, though the other options are convenient enough.
For anyone looking for a Madrid amusement park, it is worth noting that there is a smaller amusement park in the Casa de Campo. While this amusement park doesn't offer rides that can compare with the rides at Parque Warner, they are enjoyable nonetheless, especially for the little ones.
