Alcudia Hotels

Alcudia hotels cater to the many tourists who filter through this popular Mediterranean resort destination on the island of Mallorca. There is a six-mile-long beach and many of the best Alcudia hotels and resorts are located along this stretch. The beach joins up with Playa de Muro and is close to a famous nature reserve known as the S’Albufera. Wherever you choose to stay, it is likely that any Alcudia accommodation will suit your fancy, since you will be so close to the gorgeous Mediterranean in nearly perfect weather.

Ibiza and Formentera are well known as resort destinations in the Balearic Islands, but Mallorca has much to offer as well. The towns of Alcudia, Magaluf, and Sa Coma draw tourists in the hundreds of thousands if not millions every year. If you are willing to put some advance planning into your trip, you stand a good chance of being able to pick from a number of reasonably priced hotels in Alcudia that meet your preferences.

The Hotetur Bellevue is impressively the largest resort in all of Europe. This is a good example of one of the all-inclusive Alcudia hotels. The advantage of staying at a place like this is the all-inclusive package element, complete with eight pools, multiple restaurants and bars, spa and fitness treatments, and virtually every other conceivable amenity all available to you under one price. The drawback is that there is less privacy. If, however, you are looking for a place to stay on the beach and plan to spend your time enjoying the water and the activities, then a place like the Hotetur Bellevue is perfect. If you are seeking a more tranquil Alcudia accommodation, though, look for something a bit smaller.

The Hotel Apartamentos Ivory Playa is a perfect example of lodging in Alcudia that, with enough advance planning, can be very reasonably priced. It is also a modern and beautiful resort that offers its guests all of the amenities including a sprawling outdoor pool, restaurant, 24-hour concierge and desk service, tennis, kids’ playground, free parking, and wireless internet access. This is one of the hotels in Alcudia that is consistently reviewed positively for cleanliness and especially for friendliness of their staff. Customer service is a priority at the Ivory Playa. It is also much smaller and slower-paced than a resort like the Hotetur Bellevue.

As you explore the island of Mallorca, you may want to visit Palma, the capital city of the Balearics or any of the other attractions on this beautiful island. The weather is almost always temperate and the vistas provided by the crystalline Mediterranean are breathtaking. It is very possible to find amazing Alcudia hotels that have views of the sea. In fact, many of the best places to stay are located right along the shore.

The Viva Sunrise (pictured) is another of the hotels in Alcudia that offers its guests a wide range of enviable amenities. There is a friendly, multilingual staff to greet you and help you should you want to book any excursions on the island. You will also find and indoor and outdoor pool, restaurant, bar and lounge, concierge service, billiards and game room, room service, wireless internet, and access to an array of water sports.

Another Alcudia accommodation is the Viva Tropic Hotel. Rates fluctuate depending on the season, but this is another hotel where it is possible to find some relatively inexpensive rates on a hotel with an accommodating staff and lots of amenities. There are two pools, a restaurant, poolside bar, bar and lounge, sauna, and spa.

There are hundreds of hotels to choose from on the island of Mallorca. The town of Alcudia has many of the most beautiful resorts on the island.
