Bed Breakfast in Sweden

Bed Breakfast in Sweden

In addition to the great hostels in Stockholm and excellent Stockholm hotels, there is also some great bed breakfast in Sweden available for accommodation. Bed breakfast Stockholm vary in luxury and amenities, but of course one thing that they all have in common is that breakfast is always included. Often, a bed and breakfast in Sweden will be located in a historic home or other historic building, and can sometimes be a fun way to meet other travelers.

One great choice for a bed breakfast in Sweden is the Hotel Tornvaktaren in the town of Ystad. This is a somewhat inexpensive bed breakfast in Sweden when compared to the cost of some of the surrounding hotels, and can be a fun place to stay. The house was built at the end of the 19th century, and is full of old world charm. This bed and breakfast Sweden is stone built and red trimmed, and has its very own garden. The bed and breakfast Sweden is also conveniently located less than ten minutes from the railway station. This Sweden bed and breakfast has nine units, five of which have their own bathroom, while the rest have a shared bathroom.

While there are Sweden bed and breakfasts located throughout the country, the highest concentration of them can be found in the city of Stockholm. Sweden bed and breakfasts in Stockholm vary in price, although costs are often right in line with the mid to high range of Stockholm hotels. One bed breakfast Stockholm is the Kungsholmen, located in the heart of the city of Stockholm. This bed breakfast Stockholm features large single rooms with a shared bathroom for guests. The accommodations are generally large, and breakfast is of course included.

Another popular choice among bed and breakfasts in Stockholm is the Ostermalm. The Ostermalm features just two double rooms, and is a somewhat quiet bed and breakfast centrally located in the city. The building was constructed in 1892, and is very close to such popular attractions as Gamla stan, the Operan, the Stadshuset building, the Vasa Museum and the Liseberg theme park.

Since most individual bed and breakfasts in Stockholm and throughout Sweden only have a few rooms, usually nine or ten at the most, it is a good idea to book your stay well in advance. While it is also possible to book a stay at an apartment or condo or other kind of vacation rental, the advantage of a bed and breakfast is often that travelers can get some good advice from the local bed and breakfast owner about area attractions. To book a stay, you can try booking online, or for bed and breakfasts that do not have online reservations, you can call ahead.
