Hi, I know it's a big late to be answering this now but for future reference Thanksgiving isn't celebrated in London at all so it is always a normal working day.

You can find a list of the UK National holidays (including those celebrated in London) on the main destination360 website. Search under Europe, then UK, then London and there is a section entitled Events Holidays which should answer your questions.
