Wink Re: November travel to Canada

Hi Folks I am Canadian and live about 1 hour west of Toronto.
First, I'd like to corrrect a few inaccurate statements:

A) Toronto (or for that matter any where in Ontario) does NOT get snow in August. That is our summer and temps range from about 24 degrees celsius to 30 degrees celcius

B) Snow in Toronto in November is quite unlikely and certainly not enought to do anything in

c) there are now mountains in Toronto. To ski you would need to go about 2 hours north of Toronto. The ski resorts make snow and groom the hills earlier than when mother nature gives enough to ski on.

D) Skiing at the resorts North of Toronto are not at the same calibrre as skiing at the resorts in British Columbia, Albert or Montreal.

Hope this helps :)
