Hi, I did my Thailand tour 4 times and visited
Bangkok twice. Recently I got a chance to do the Chaopraya river cruise from Bangkok to Ayutthaya. The Ayutthaya is located in north of Bangkok within 85 kilometers distance. The luxurious cruise took us from Bangkok to the former capital of Ayutthaya with the sensational view of the Chaopraya River, great Temple of dawn (Wat Arun), Grand Palace ( Wat Prakaew) and Rama 8 Bridge.
We started at 6.30am from Bangkok and reached Bang-pa-in (The Summer Palace) at 9am. It's a very beautiful palace surrounded by a Botanical Garden. Spent 1/2 an hour there and proceeded to Ayutthaya and visited the most interesting places including Wat Yai Chaiyamonkol, Wat phrasisanphet and Vihara Phramongkolbopitr. We explored those places until 1pm and departed from Wat Pai Lom Pier to Bangkok. Along the way we enjoyed the fascinating sight of The Royal Grand Palace and The Graceful Temple of Dawn. Really cruise journey is the most pleasant way to explore the city, it's a highlight of any
Thailand tour. The Chaopraya river cruise from Bangkok to Ayutthaya is available daily and the duration is 8 hours. worth a visit. It was a full day
tour in an air-conditioned cruise boat with onboard buffet. We had a great time in exotic Thai cruise on the Chaophraya river.
The
Temple of the Emerald Buddha,
Phuket and the ancient capital of Ayutthaya are the biggest attractions of Thailand, so explore them and enjoy your Thailand tour!
