8 days is not enough in any country :)
New Zealand is probably the most beautiful country on earth, its like Europe without any people. Lots of forests and mountains, and almost empty.
South Island is stunning, and worth hiring a car for to see it all. 8 days you could spend just around Queenstown though, New Zealand offers so many activities and sightseeing.
If you have just that, i recommend picking one place (say queenstown or christchurch) and basing youself out of there to do 1-day trips. |
