I have to say, though it is a tough call, that of all the European countries I've been to, Italy stands out the most and is probably my favorite. The history, the beauty (in more ways than one), the culture, the FOOD(!!)...the country has it all. It was also the first country I visited that made me want to learn the language for future trips (which I'm still working on :) )

That being said, I enjoyed myself in most of the countries Europe had to offer, but none as much as Italy.
