hi. i'm thinking of taking a few weeks vacation in July. one idea is minas gerais. i would like a place that is not too urban, with some opportunity to see interesting scenery/fauna/etc. i am not so interested in historic sites, etc.

any suggestions ?

i've never been to brazil and do not speak portuguese. so, i have to figure out how to get there, how to get around, costs, etc.
