Hi there,
There are a few
zoos in Kansas but some of them are relatively small. The Sedgwick County Zoo located in Wichita is one of the zoos worth visiting. It features more than 2,500 animals and five of the planet's seven continents are represented in different areas at the Sedgwick County Zoo. From the north American grizzly bears to African hippos, visitors truly can enjoy a bit of the world.
Other zoos you can
consider are the Topeka Zoological Park in Topeka, and the Sunset Zoo in Manhattan.
Apart from zoos you can also experience the vast Kansas prairies such as the Konza Prairie Preserve. It supports more than 7,500 different kinds of plants and 40 different mammal species. It is also home to 20 different kinds of fish, 700 kinds of invertebrates, and hundreds of different kinds of birds.
Hope this helps
