Default Re: washington state hiking trails

Hi there,

One of the most popular areas for hiking in Washington State is Mount Rainier National Park where you can also find campgrounds to suit your needs.

A popular and famous trail is the Pacific Crest Trail which runs from the United States border with Mexico to its border with Canada and it is around three thousand miles long and takes around eight months to complete.

Part of this huge hiking trail passes through the state in the Cascade wilderness. At Snoqualmie, the trail rises to precarious ridges with amazing views of the surrounding wilderness.

The path descends through a creek and a river, and then it resumes its bendy path along a number of scenic lakes before it reaches Stevens Pass.

If you are camping as well as hiking, I would suggest not to carry too much to make the hiking more comfortable and make sure you carry extra jumpers to keep warm.

Hope this helps
