Hi there,
Great Falls is truly a cultural city with plenty of museums such as:
* The History Museum.
* The Children's Museum of Montana.
* The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center.
The C.M. Russell Museum is probably the top attarction in Great Falls. It features over two thousand artifacts, personal objects that relate to Russell's life and career and also a home that Russell built in 1900.
Also, the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center offers ranger programs where you can hike to historic landmarks such as Lewis and Clark Trail landmark in Giant Springs State Park.
In fact, during June time the Interpretive Center runs an annual festival which celebrates both the Corps of Discovery expedition and the area's Native American history and culture.
At Giant Springs State Park you can also do some bird watching, see the fish hatchery, and to
enjoy the Rainbow Falls Overlook, which is easily reached from the park.
Ulm Pishkun State Park cliffs are also a great place to experience the view of the Rocky Mountains. Also, the cliffs there were once the place where Native American hunters stampeded buffalo.
