Places in the south coast of maine such as
Old Orchard beach are a great spot for camping if you like being close to the beach.
A great campground on the Old Orchard beach which is ideal for groups and families is the Hid’n Pines campgrounds which offers facilities for RVs, as well as tent sites.
In the other hand, if you intend to do outdoor and water activities such as fishing then, I would suggest going west of maine where the lakes and mountains are found.
Another alternative is to camp at a
State Parks such as Sebago Lake State Park, Camden Hills State Park and so on.
