The Pocono Mountains and section of the Appalachian Trail are the best and most popular places to go for hiking in Pennsylvania, specially if leave in the city of Philadelphia.
Two of my favorite trails are:
* Fairmount Park which is near the Philadelphia zoo.
* The Pinnacle which is in the Appalachian trail and offers great views of the Hawk
Mountain and the Lehigh Valley.
