If you are traveling between June and September is the summer months and a wonderful time to enjoy lakeside chalets and many outdoor adventures although it is peak season and prices do rise considerably.
The months of April and May and between September and October are probably the best times to snatch deals on
Switzerland packages.
Christmas is a popular time for skiing but I would avoid it as it tends to be extremely crowded and expensive. If you plan well and plan ahead, you can enjoy affordable accommodations but reservations are hard to get and the slopes are generally jammed.
