Buzios is a trendy upper-class beach resort, 2 hours east from Rio . It is a tranquil and very safe destination. With its superb location on a peninsula, it has beaches on 3 sides. Buzios became famous in the sixties, when Brigitte Bardot and her boyfriend spent some time in the former fishermans' village. Since then Buzios has attracted many visitors with its natural beauty.
